Rates Payment Options
Ratepayers are offered a choice to pay rates in either one, two or four installments. To qualify for the installment option, any arrears, plus the full amount of the first installment must have been paid by the date of the first installment as identified on the rate notice.
Please note that payments not received by the first installment date will attract a late payment interest charge.

Pay in two installments
Installment 1 – due 31st August 2024
Installment 2 – due 30th September 2024

Pay by special arrangement
The Rakiraki Town Council understands that sometimes people experience financial hardship which makes it difficult to meet all financial commitments when they are due. We are happy to work with you to develop a mutually acceptable payment arrangement.
Please contact the Town Rates Officers on 9257916 to discuss your options. You will be asked to complete a Rates Payment Arrangement Application and submit this to the Rakiraki Town Council before the special arrangement can be approved.
Please note that this option will also incur an Administration Fee of $10.
