Rates

Rates account for approximately 60% of the Town Councils operating revenue. The Rakiraki Town Council invests this revenue in our community with new infrastructure and facilities as well as upgrades and improvements to existing infrastructure such as river walls, roads, paths and drainage. Additionally, Council provides a range of services for our community including:

• Weekly rubbish collections
• White goods collection
• Green waste collection
• Parks, playgrounds facilities
• Grass cutting services
• Drain cleaning services
• Dog Trapping Exercise
• Outdoor sales
